Applying for a tenancy at St Marys Lodge
To qualify for a tenancy, teachers must be newly or recently qualified, i.e. to have completed fewer than three years teaching at the commencement of the tenancy.
There are vacancies for the start of the new academic year in September 2023.
The St Marys Lodge apartments are available at a discounted rate to those in the early years of their teaching career.
Teaching Year 1 - £500pcm
Teaching Year 2 - £580pcm
Teaching Year 3 - £650pcm
Teaching Year 4 - £725pcm
There will be a maximum of 4 terms of 12 months allowed to any tenancy.
Assured Shorthold Tenancy (terminable after 6 months with 2 months notice by either party) , part furnished and with white good Tenants will be responsible for payment of electricity, gas, water service charges and council tax. The first month’s rent and payment of a deposit of 5 weeks rent will be required before moving in, there are no administration charges payable.
Applications for tenancies of the apartments are invited now, and should be made by CV and covering letter.
Applicants may be invited to a short interview which will take place in Wantage.
